REPORT: HOMESCHOOLING GROWING SEVEN TIMES FASTER THAN PUBLIC SCHOOL ENROLLMENT
Source: Breitbart.com
by DR. SUSAN BERRY
by DR. SUSAN BERRY
As dissatisfaction with the U.S. public school system grows, apparently so has the appeal of homeschooling. Educational researchers, in fact, are expecting a surge in the number of students educated at home by their parents over the next ten years, as more parents reject public schools.
A recent report in Education News states that, since 1999, the number of children who are homeschooled has increased by 75%. Though homeschooled children represent only 4% of all school-age children nationwide, the number of children whose parents choose to educate them at home rather than a traditional academic setting is growing seven times faster than the number of children enrolling in grades K-12 every year.
As homeschooling has become increasingly popular, common myths that have long been associated with the practice of homeschooling have been debunked.
Any concerns about the quality of education children receive by their parents can be put to rest by the consistently high placement of homeschooled students on standardized assessment exams. Data demonstrates that those who are independently educated generally score between the 65th and 89th percentile on these measures, while those in traditional academic settings average at around the 50th percentile. In addition, achievement gaps between sexes, income levels, or ethnicity—all of which have plagued public schools around the country—do not exist in homeschooling environments.
According to the report:
Recent studies laud homeschoolers’ academic success, noting their significantly higher ACT-Composite scores as high schoolers and higher grade point averages as college students. Yet surprisingly, the average expenditure for the education of a homeschooled child, per year, is $500 to $600, compared to an average expenditure of $10,000 per child, per year, for public school students.
The high achievement level of homeschoolers is readily recognized by recruiters from some of the best colleges in the nation. Home-educated children matriculate in colleges and attain a four-year degree at much higher rates than their counterparts from both public and private schools. Schools such as Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Harvard, Stanford, and Duke Universities all actively recruit homeschoolers.
Similarly, the common myth that homeschoolers “miss out” on so-called “socialization opportunities,” often thought to be a vital aspect of traditional academic settings, has proven to be without merit. According to the National Home Education Research Institutesurvey, homeschoolers tend to be more socially engaged than their peers and demonstrate “healthy social, psychological, and emotional development, and success into adulthood.”
From the report:
Based on recent data, researchers such as Dr. Brian Ray (NHERI.org) “expect to observe a notable surge in the number of children being homeschooled in the next 5 to 10 years. The rise would be in terms of both absolute numbers and percentage of the K to 12 student population. This increase would be in part because…[1] a large number of those individuals who were being home educated in the 1990’s may begin to homeschool their own school-age children and [2] the continued successes of home-educated students.”

The Lead Vaccine Developer Comes Clean So She Can “Sleep At Night”: Gardasil and Cervarix Don’t Work, Are Dangerous, and Weren’t Tested – LifeWise

Dr. Diane Harper was the lead researcher in the development of the human papilloma virus vaccines, Gardasil and Cervarix. She is the latest to come forward and question the safety and effectiveness of these vaccines.
She made the surprising announcement at the 4th International Public Conference on Vaccination, which took place in Reston, Virginia on Oct. 2nd through 4th, 2009.
Her speech was supposed to promote the Gardasil and Cervarix vaccines, but she instead turned on her corporate bosses in a very public way. When questioned about the presentation, audience members remarked that they came away feeling that the vaccines should not be used.
“I came away from the talk with the perception that the risk of adverse side effects is so much greater than the risk of cervical cancer, I couldn’t help but question why we need the vaccine at all.” – Joan Robinson
Dr. Harper explained in her presentation that the cervical cancer risk in the U.S. is already extremely low, and that vaccinations are unlikely to have any effect upon the rate of cervical cancer in the United States. In fact, 70% of all H.P.V. infections resolve themselves without treatment in a year, and the number rises to well over 90% in two years. Harper also mentioned the safety angle.
All trials of the vaccines were done on children aged 15 and above, despite them currently being marketed for 9-year-olds. So far, 15,037 girls have reported adverse side effects from Gardasil alone to the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (V.A.E.R.S.), and this number only reflects parents who underwent the hurdles required for reporting adverse reactions.
At the time of writing, 44 girls are officially known to have died from these vaccines. The reported side effects include Guillian Barré Syndrome (paralysis lasting for years, or permanently — sometimes eventually causing suffocation), lupus, seizures, blood clots, and brain inflammation. Parents are usually not made aware of these risks.
Dr. Harper, the vaccine developer, claimed that she was speaking out, so that she might finally be able to sleep at night.
“About eight in every ten women who have been sexually active will have H.P.V. at some stage of their life. Normally there are no symptoms, and in 98 per cent of cases it clears itself. But in those cases where it doesn’t, and isn’t treated, it can lead to pre-cancerous cells which may develop into cervical cancer.” - Dr. Diane Harper
One must understand how the establishment’s word games are played to truly understand the meaning of the above quote, and one needs to understand its unique version of “science”.
When they report that untreated cases “can” lead to something that “may” lead to cervical cancer, it really means that the relationship is merely a hypothetical conjecture that is profitable if people actually believe it. In other words, there is no demonstrated relationship between the condition being vaccinated for and the rare cancers that the vaccine might prevent, but it is marketed to do that nonetheless.
In fact, there is no actual evidence that the vaccine can prevent any cancer. From the manufacturers own admissions, the vaccine only works on 4 strains out of 40 for a specific venereal disease that dies on its own in a relatively short period, so the chance of it actually helping an individual is about about the same as the chance of him being struck by a meteorite.
Why do nine-year-old girls need vaccinations for extremely rare and symptom-less venereal diseases that the immune system usually kills anyway?

Success is to be able to spend time in your own way~
Success have many definitions to it.
Everyone is successful but do you believe it or not?
I believe I am successful!
I am a success since I come into physical creation!
Success is personal if we are in tuned with our self on both the inside and outside.
Some deem success when they acquired their dreams, material possessions, or excel up the corporate ladder.
Some looked at success when they have their life values met.
Some value success when they are able to have flexibility in life to do what they desired most.
Some sees success when the people around them are successful.
Some felt success when they achieved a certain milestones in life.
Some knows they succeeded when they are able to spend time in their own way.
What are the definitions of success in your very own ways, terms, conditions and perspective?
It is all voiced down to you yourself.
I am successful!
I am able to spend time in my own way!
Dare to ask! Dare to create! Dare to manifest!
Love Life~ Live Life~
Everyone is successful but do you believe it or not?

Researchers have discovered a possible way to get a very early diagnosis of autism and related conditions in very young children.
It could provide a diagnosis years earlier than the typical age of five years, according to an Irish research clinician who led the work.
“The key with autism is early diagnosis,” said Dr John Foxe, professor of paediatrics and neuroscience at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City.
“This is potentially a biomarker that can identify kids [with autism spectrum disorders] earlier,” he said of the research findings which are published this morning in theEuropean Journal of Neuroscience .
Prof Foxe was senior author on the paper which attempted to make a link between a particular autistic behaviour and the way that a child’s brain develops in the first few years of its life.
“It is well known that kids and adults with spectrum disorders have this unusual gaze pattern,” he said.
People without these conditions typically look directly at a person, but those with these disorders tend to avert their gaze.
This has been linked to social anxiety, but the research team wondered if “visual mapping” might be involved in this behaviour.
Visual mapping begins soon after birth as the eyes of an infant begin to work. The parts of the brain responsible for vision begin to form very precise maps that link the visual field with specific sections of the brain, the authors write in the journal.
Central vision takes up the greatest percentage of visual processing with peripheral areas away from the centre taking up a smaller amount of space.
Many autistic people are known to have mild motor control issues.
“If kids with autism have mild motor problems this could be related to not quite getting their eyes on a target,” Prof Foxe said.
They tested this by looking at electrical signals from the brain using electrodes applied to the scalp. They could show what amount of the brain was given to central vision compared to the periphery.
In the normal brain central vision takes up a large area, but the visual information processing in those with autism is more distributed, with increased space given to the peripheral view.
This approach could provide a new way to get a very early diagnosis, Prof Foxe said said. “One could imagine being able to intervene earlier.”

The Return in 2013
My life took a turn for the better.
I am now in a waiting period.
I pick up a new found hobby that I enjoyed.
I continued in a few hobbies that I have been doing and I am loving it~
Every single day is a day for more and more exploration and discoveries!
All one need to do is to be in the present moment and take things as it comes its way.
I am thankful and grateful for all that was, is and going to be.
